On the evening of October 24, as the final whistle pierced the night sky, the 2026 Jiuzhouji Community "Leadtra Packaging Cup" Youth 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament officially came to a close at the former Yicun Basketball Court in Jiuzhouji Community. Since the tournament began on October 16, four nights of competition, five age groups, 36 teams, and 152 young players gathered here, using dribbling, drives, and shots to set the autumn nights of Jiuzhouji ablaze.

Highlights: From U8 to U18, Passion Knows No Age

The tournament featured five age groups: A (U18-U20), B (U15-U17), C (U12-U14), D (U10-U11), and E (U8-U9), with mixed-gender teams allowed. On the court, the U8-U9 players, barely waist-high, already understood give-and-go plays and raising their hands on defense; the U18-U20 players pushed the atmosphere to its peak with tough defense and fast breaks. Scores may differ, but passion is universal. These young players falling down and getting back up, trailing but still chasing — that is the most moving essence of Jiuzhouji basketball.

This year's tournament encouraged mixed-gender teams and awarded additional points for female players' scoring under the competition rules. They proved through precise shooting and tenacious defense that this isn't preferential treatment — it's merit.
