In the packaging of food, medicine, and chemical products, we often see a thin layer of aluminum foil film on the bottle mouth, which is tightly adhered to the bottle mouth and requires force to tear open. This layer of film is the sealing film, more professionally known as the induction sealing film.

1、 Core principle: High tech "heat sealing" 

The use of sealing film does not rely on glue, but utilizes electromagnetic induction heating technology. This layer of film itself is a multi-layer composite material, typically consisting of: 

Surface layer: printing layer, can be labeled with brand or information. 

Intermediate layer: aluminum foil, used as an induction heating element. 

Inner layer: Heat sealing adhesive, a special polymer. 

2、 Usage steps: Precise operation of automated production line 

The application of sealing film is completely completed by automated production lines, mainly divided into three steps: 

1. Feeding and Filling: Firstly, empty bottles are transported to the filling machine and filled with products (such as pills, juice, milk powder). Subsequently, the robotic arm will automatically place a cut sealing film gasket precisely at the bottle mouth. 

2. Screw cap and induction sealing: This is the most crucial step. The automatic capping machine tightens the bottle cap. At this point, the bottle cap is loose, leaving space for the expansion of the aluminum foil film. Next, the bottle passes through a device called an induction sealing machine. This device will generate a high-frequency electromagnetic field. 

3. Instant sealing and cooling: When the bottle passes through an electromagnetic field, the aluminum foil layer in the middle of the sealing film will instantly generate eddy currents and heat (similar to the principle of an induction cooker), which melts the inner sealing adhesive in milliseconds. The pressure of the bottle cap causes the melted colloid to tightly adhere to the material of the bottle mouth (plastic or glass). After leaving the electromagnetic field, the material rapidly cools and solidifies, forming a strong, airtight, and leak proof perfect seal. Finally, the production line will tighten the bottle cap again to complete the entire packaging process.
