What should be noted when using aluminum foil sealing film to seal honey bottles?
Recently, a customer approached Leadmens Packaging to customize and purchase a batch of honey bottle aluminum foil sealing film. Today, we will talk about its sealing.
1. Accurate temperature control: Honey has high viscosity, and it is recommended to use medium and low temperature sealing (130-150 ℃) to avoid carbonization of the aluminum foil layer or fermentation of honey due to high temperature, which may affect the sealing performance.
2. Clean the bottle mouth before sealing: Ensure that there is no honey residue on the bottle mouth, otherwise sugar coking during heat sealing will reduce the bonding strength, leading to virtual sealing or leakage.
3. Choose corrosion-resistant aluminum foil film: Honey is weakly acidic and requires a specially designed aluminum foil layer that is resistant to acid corrosion (such as a thick coating) to prevent the aluminum foil from being corroded and perforated after long-term storage.
4. Inverted detection after sealing: Immediately invert the bottle body for 10 minutes after sealing is completed, observe whether there is honey leakage, and ensure reliable sealing (especially for high viscosity crystalline honey) .
